Fintech Valley – an initiative of Government of Andhra Pradesh – is conducting a Demo Day to enable Startups to showcase their solutions to BFSI Corporates. 8 Corporate Partners including Kotak Mahindra Bank, IDFC Bank, DCB Bank, RBL Bank, Fullerton India,TATA Capital, Bajaj Allianz and ICICI Lombard have shared their 19 High Priority Use CasesThis is your chance to showcase your Fintech products and solutions to large Financial Services companies. Please read  Rules  and  FAQs  for the Innovation Challenge. Interested Startups are invited to apply using the Application Form below:

Steps to register for the competition:

  • Step:1 – Register on the Bizofit Platform by clicking on Signin (top right hand corner) and Login using Linkedin / Create your own user id and password.  Click on the option to “Respond to Innovation Challenges”
  • Step:2 – Once logged in, apply here by filling out the attached Application Form. For each Innovation Challenge, you have to fill up a separate form.
  • Step:3 – In order to provide more info on the company, create your “Company Listing” by clicking on Register your company link on the Bizofit Homepage (Optional Step).

NOTE: If shortlisted for any of the use cases, the Proof of Concept has to be executed out of Vizag.

Rules for the Competition

Please read these rules before entering the Competition. Participation in this Competition constitutes Entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and represents that Entrant satisfies all of the eligibility requirements set forth below. There are no prizes associated with selected winners for the competition. However, prizes can be announced by the corporate partners or sponsors based on their discretion.

  • Eligibility

    Startup Market Connect (the “Competition”) presented by the AP Government and Fintech Valley Vizag is open to early-stage companies with a tested, functional prototype in production or very close to being in production similar to the use cases/Innovation Challenges posted on Each eligible company that enters the Competition shall be referred to herein as an “Entrant.”

  • Sponsors

    The Competition is sponsored by the AP Government and Fintech Valley Vizag (“Sponsors”).

  • Entry

    Competition applications can be submitted here (the “Competition Site”) for each of the Use Cases listed below in Section 5. See Competition Site for entry instructions. The application period begins at 2:00:00 pm IST on March 12th, 2018 and ends at 11:59:59 pm IST on March 30th, 2018 (“Competition Entry Period”). There are no limits on application per company. A one-page solution summary or pitch deck is required, and a video (up to two minutes in length) is optional. By entering, each Entrant and team member agrees to conform to the Guidelines and Restrictions.
    4.a Guidelines and Restrictions:

  1. The entry must not contain material that violates or infringes any rights of any other party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, patent, privacy, publicity or any other intellectual property rights;
  2. The entry must not disparage Sponsor or any other person or party;
  • Selection of finalists

    Selected Entrants will be selected to proceed in the Competition to a live event (the “Demo Day”) to be held in Mumbai on 30th April, 2018 (“Finalists”). Finalists invited to attend the Demo Day will be chosen from among the Entrants by the Sponsors or their representatives or agents on or about 13th April, 2018.
    Finalists will be notified via email on or about April 13th, 2018.
    Winning teams will be notified at the Demo Day on 30th April, 2018.

  • Travel

    Finalist Entrant will be invited to participate in the Demo Day in Mumbai at their own expense.

  • Demo Day

    Once in Mumbai, the Finalist team members will pitch their product or service for five (5) minutes to a panel of independent judges who will determine winning teams. Each Finalist’s pitch will include a demonstration of the product or service and a live question/answer session with the judges. The winning teams will be selected based on their presentation, product or service, and business model in accordance with the Judging Criteria for each applicable Use Case.
    Corporate Partners will discuss scope and duration of PoC with respective Finalists.

  • Competition results

    A list of the winning teams will be posted on  on or about May 15th, 2018.
