It was early in the days of online video when VOPED Founder and President Mark Serrano hatched the idea of website tools enabling user-generated video opinion editorials (Video Op-Ed…VOPED) for online publishers. As with many start-up companies, you build something, learning along the way, and realize that you’ve come up with something even better. So the VOPED team built out its robust online video technology to provide brands, online publishers, premium content providers, and others with the powerful technology necessary to brand, manage, and monetize online video for their audiences.

Since then, VOPED has developed the platform technology to include Pay Per View, live streaming, video on demand, ad platforms, social integration, turnkey hosted video websites, digital rights management (DRM), and a user-friendly management console.

Adopters of the technology have included a major wrestling entertainment organization streaming live Pay Per View events to thousands of avid fans, live music studios looking to expand and engage their audience base, large companies requiring a robust, enterprise-level video content management system, and start-up ventures that needed to protect premium video content for delivery to niche audiences across the globe.
